On behalf of the Hamilton Park Historic Preservation Foundation (“HPHPF”), also dba Hamilton Park Community Development Corporation, I would like to personally thank you again for your continued support of the HPHPF and the Hamilton Park Project (“Project”).

Due to changes in the economic market, this task has taken longer than anticipated. We are continuing to work with advisors and partners towards our goal of obtaining “highest & best use” price for your property. The passage of time has, however, allowed us to identify better opportunities and increased resources.  Accordingly, the scope of the Project has broadened and gained national recognition with the involvement of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and other prominent organizations and developers. In fact, the Project is being viewed as one that can serve as a model for other cities throughout the country. 

As you know, the HPHPF Agency Agreement & Addendum will expire on September 30, 2009.  In order to show our unity, commitment and support, we request that you review, sign and return a new Agency Agreement. Your signature and return of the Agency Agreement will confirm you want us to “count you in” and allow the HPHPF to continue working for you in achieving the goal of obtaining “highest & best use” price and leave a true legacy for Hamilton Park. Please note that you may opt-out of the Agency Agreement at any time with written notice, without any penalty. 

We will continue to keep you informed of our progress through our website, mailers/postcards, monthly Steering Committee meetings, the Foundation News newsletter and community meetings as necessary. 

It is very important that we continue to work together and exercise patience as we move through this process. 

Again, we thank you for your support and look forward to completing the tasks required to make this Project a reality for our community.
